In today's world where people are experiencing different levels of stress, chiropractors get the patients first with their complaints. A good percentage of those relate to bad posture and TMJ discomfort as a result of missing posterior teeth, etc. Sometimes worn out teeth of old dentures or partials are the result of head and neck pain, when the vertical dimension is collapsed and the condyle can slide distally on the slope of the Glenoid Fossa, depressing the anterior wall of the Auditory Meatus. In some cases to help his patient, the chiropractor will work together with a Dentist, or lately rather with a Denturist - who is a denture/partial specialist.

Dentist do not provide dentures the same way as a Denture Specialist does. They take their impressions and bite registrations, but sometimes their assistants will do these for them. The rest of the denture's fate lies in the hands of the dental labs, who have no information at all on the dental office's prescription pertaining to the state of the patient's health; like how is the saturation level in the blood of the toxic denture-color agent Cadmium Oxide? What kind of articulator, teeth or denture base acrylic is to be used? How was the equilibrium, the balance of the four quadrants in the denture created, what kind of an articulator was used? Nobody will know it later!

In our Denturist Office we use the latest scientific breakthrough, the ACCU-LINER SYSTEM. This will analyze correctly the patients oral structures, relating them to the rest of head anatomy. The use of the ACCU-LINER will help the TMJ to stay in its normal anatomical position, and maintain the proper ration in the synovial cavity.
